Assigning forms and form routing on the dashboard

Specific requests can be automatically ‘routed’ to groups that have been set up in the Dashboard. This is especially useful for secondary triage staff who will be logging into the dashboard to deal with specialised queries.

You’ll need to be an Administrator to set up Form Routing. If you already have groups set up, go straight to ‘Form Routing’ from the menu, otherwise you’ll need to set up your groups first.

On the page called ‘Local Routing’ you’ll see a table with all your groups on the top axis, and the requests down the side axis. Scroll down and click inside the cells in the group column adjacent to the request types you want to route, the page will briefly refresh and a green tick will appear in the cell.

In this example, the Pharmacist group have been given access to 3 requests:

Each member of the Pharmacist group will now see these requests in the Worklist when they log into the Dashboard.

Requests that are routed to groups will still be visible globally to everyone on the dashboard, in the New Requests, New Reply, Parked, Waiting and All Open lists, and in the archive, and any requests that have not been routed to groups will be highlighted so other users are aware and they can be delegated and dealt with accordingly.
