Adding and removing banners

Adding banners

To add a banner to your website, follow these steps:
  • Log in to "wp-admin"
  • If you are on the homepage, select "Edit Site" from the admin bar at the top of the page
  • Add a new block above or below the "NHS UK Header"
  • Select the "+" icon and search for the "Homepage Emergency Banner" pattern
  • Select the "Homepage Emergency Banner" pattern to add it to your page
  • Update the heading and paragraph text as required
  • Select "Save" to publish the changes

Removing banners

To remove a banner from your website, follow these steps:
  • Navigate to the homepage
  • Select "Edit Site" from the admin bar at the top of the page
  • Select the banner block you would like to remove
  • In the floating toolbar, select the three dots labelled "Options"
  • Select "Delete" to remove the banner
  • Select "Save" to publish the changes
