The first step is to always login to the editing of your website. To do this you just need to add '/wp-admin' to the end of your website address and press enter. For example:
https://examplewebsite.nhs.uk/wp-admin
You will be presented with a login page. If you have a dashboard, your login details will be the same as the ones you use for that.
If you can't remember your login details, please click the forgot your password link.
Adding news posts
Once you have logged in to your website editing, there are two ways to add a new news post.
The first is to remain in the editing, and click news button in left hand black panel, then click add a new post at the top the page. From there you can add in the title and content of your news post, then click publish.
The second is to return to patient facing end of the website, and then follow these steps:
Click on the "new" tab on the black bar at the top of the page, then click "news"
Enter the title and content of your news post in the provided fields.
Click the "Publish" button at the top right to save and publish your news post.
